warcraft characters per realm

One death knight to earth. (World of warcraft).
I know that I can have one death knight Dan. So if there is only 1 lvl 55 characters. (druid) I can make many death knights. different realms, or do I need to do more. lvl 55 characters if you wish to death knight in the land of different or not in simple terms:. If I have 1 lvl 55 character on my account I can. many knights die as long as they are on. different realms.
Server each needs at least. 1 lvl 55 for 1 lvl 55 DK.
